and went somewhere else

when i yelled at you for some help

you didn’t hear me

and kept doing your own work

when i sang a song just to attract your attention,

you didn’t hear me

and looked at others instead

when i made a superb joke just to make you laugh

you didn’t hear me

and stared at space like a total klutz

when i said i like you very much

you didn’t hear me

and kept looking blankly at the ceiling

when i had given so much effort which

you didn’t appreciate at all

so i gave up and walked away
