A Kiss

it was a lovely monday morning

we were alone

in her room

she was sitting beside

i was looking outside

we were speechless

she lied against my feet

as i turned to look at her

there she was

a smile on her face

a smile that was hard to resist

a smile that made me

fell in love even deeper

and i knelt before her

a knowing grin on my lips

her nod told she knew it too

we both knew too well

just what was perfect

for the moment

i hold her gently

as i pressed my lips on hers

not our first kiss

but it has been too long

we were dying for it, so

it was welcomed

just as much our first was
